5. Recipients and processors
We do not sell or hand over your data to third parties. Only providers that perform services on our behalf, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR), have access to it:
- Vercel Inc. — hosting and delivery of the website.
- Neon — Postgres database (European Union region) where messages, bookings and subscriptions are stored.
- Resend — sending the e-mail with your message to our team.
- Google Ireland Ltd. (Analytics, Tag Manager), Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. (Clarity) and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Pixel) — only if you accept the corresponding cookies; in that case they act under their own terms and may be joint or independent controllers for certain processing.
- Advisers and authorities, where a rule obliges us to disclose data to them.
6. International transfers
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. In such cases we make sure appropriate safeguards exist: an adequacy decision (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified) or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, together with supplementary measures where appropriate.
7. How long we keep data
- Form messages and meeting bookings: for as long as the conversation lasts and up to 24 months after the last contact, unless a contractual relationship begins.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. You can do so at any time by writing to us and we will remove you from the list.
- Digital card visits: anonymous counters, with no personal retention period because they identify no one.
- Contractual relationship data: for the duration of the contract and then for the applicable legal periods (for example, tax and accounting).
- Technical security logs: the minimum time necessary and, in any case, whatever the hosting provider sets.
- Cookies: for the duration stated in the Cookie policy. Your choice is kept for 12 months.
Once the periods have elapsed, data is deleted or anonymized, unless it must be blocked to address possible liabilities.
8. Your rights
You may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access: know what data of yours we process and obtain a copy.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data when it is no longer necessary, you withdraw consent or you object to the processing.
- Restriction: ask us to suspend processing in the cases provided by law.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Cookies are managed from “Cookie preferences” in the footer.
- Not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing with legal effects: we do not make such decisions.
9. How to exercise them and how to complain
Write to us through the contact form on this website, stating the right you are exercising and how we can identify you. We will reply within one month, extendable by two further months in complex cases.
If you believe we have not handled your rights properly, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt) in Portugal, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, www.aepd.es) if you live in Spain, or the authority in your country of residence.
10. Children
This site is aimed at professionals and companies. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data: encrypted communications (HTTPS), restricted access and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is infallible; if a breach affecting you occurs, we will tell you and notify the authority where required.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to our services. We will always publish the current version with its update date and, if the change is significant, highlight it on the site.
